The day to day thoughts of a mild mannered baby lawyer fresh from law school trying to come up. He's got a lot of thoughts on a lot of issues, sometimes he is on point, sometimes he is full of sh*!. For the most part, he seeks to find the middle ground on most issues. Do you find yourself agreeing or disagreeing with him? Do tell.
This is a short film being shown at the Media That Matters Film Festival. It's a youth documentary done by Kiri Davis. In an interview Ms. Davis says, "For my high-school literature class I was constructing an anthology with a wide range of different stories that I believed reflected the black girl’s experience." It's only seven minutes long. Take a look see.

The doll test is a serious wakeup call. What are we teaching are children? Did you see how the little girl struggled to pick the black doll when asked to pick the one that looked like her? What a sad world we live in. When are people going to wise up?
Well its probably a combo of parentage and societal influence. Either way, that one little girl seemed so conflicted after she was asked to pick the good doll, and then which doll she was. She did not even want to pick it up.
