I am not big into discussing religion or ones faith, just not a subject I like to breach upon. I believe everyone is entitled to their own particular faith and religious beliefs.
9/11 created or brought to light, what I like to call, the 21st century Negro, Middle Easterners/Arabs. They are the new target of what most black folk had to deal with back in the day. It's not funny, but I can't say I haven't smirked when I hear that group complain about being profiled by law enforcement and others. I'm like, get over it, it happens to colored folk all the time.
I will say though that 9/11 and the
so-called War on Terror or Islamofacism (
which I still don't what that is) has brought mad attention to those who are Muslim. Mind you that not all Middle Easterners are Muslim, don't matter, you got an accent, and you look like one, yea you one of them.
You like to play paintball, and you look like one of them terrorist, you probably a terrorist or training to be one.
So as I watch the news, and follow the happenings of the
so-called War, I learn that these Muslims got it out for us Americans. Yo, if we don't convert, we in trouble. What Bush say, we fighting them over there so we don't have to fight them here. WTF.... Them folk gonna charter flights to America if we don't stay over there?
Ooops.....I am straying from my main point. "They don't like us, cause of our freedom" For real? Who is they? The Arabs or the Muslims? Well, since the
so called war I heard that Islam was a violent religion that pretty much has it out for everyone who differs with them plus they treat their women like ish. But how much of that is based on their religion and how much of that is based on their respective culture?
But then, I read somewhere that its the fastest growing religion in the world. That don't add up though, well maybe if all the folk crossing over love violence. I dunno.
But then what about all of those American Muslims, black and white, and those cats selling bean pies and fruit on the corner,
that's wrong, The Nation of Islam. Are they guilty of being a terrorist simply by association?
Well if I trust everything I read and hear, they down wit Bin Laden too.
Here is a little film I found. Dude on that Red Bull, but he had some good points.
