That's the news in the European press as well. The word on EuroNews yesterday was that the a poll revealed that the biggest threat to global peace is George Bush, Jr. and his administration.
I had a conversation with an Italian traveling through Amsterdam and he said that people abroad see "American" as personified as the current administration. Whether or not this is true will in great part be determined by what the U.S. electorate says to the world in the 2006 midterm elections.
Yes. I experienced the same in London and Rome. There is a great deal of animosity for "Americans". Once they figure out you are down and not for the BS Bush stands for, it's all gravy........
