Congress has decided to give itself a raise. No, really. A raise of $3,300.00. It's a two percent cost of living raise. This is the same that refuses to bring up the issue of raising the minimum raise. Mind you there raises are included in certain legislation that automatically kicks in unless the body votes to block it. Neither party wanted to vote on the issue. It has bEen the Republicans who refuse to support an increase in the minimum wage.
